Redon is a relatively obscure artist, even though he has a masterpiece of the Buddha hanging in the main hall of a Parisian museum. His pieces are often dark, even disturbed, and sometimes seem unfinished. Perhaps for these reasons, it's hard to find a comprehensive selection of his work. This is one. The Kindle version is a huge bargain, and you can just turn page after page and get lost in Redon's artistry. Viewing on my bright widescreen LCD PC screen, the color vibrance is quite evocative. Recommended for those with a serious interest in French art at the turn of the 1900s. College art students, you'll probably find some of the sentiment and expression macabre and droll to your liking.
