This adult coloring book, by Sujatha Lalgudi, is perfect for all the bird lovers out there, and colonists alike, with many illustrations of birds from all over the world. There is a good mixture of fine, and more open detail suitable for all age and ability ranges. The paper is thin, you can see the next image through the page you're working on, but is of good quality as it has good tooth and allows for multiple layers. The paper does not wad up, or tear when pressing hard, using water color pencils or while erasing. I would suggest using a piece of card stock, or something similar, underneath the page you are working on as gel pens and staedtler fine tip markers show through and sometimes bleed onto the next image. The 4 star rating is because some of the lines do not connect fully and they are thin, making the use of anything but pencils difficult to stay within the lines. I haven't seen any of these images in other books or online so it is truly an original, and beautiful, book of art.
